At Fit Life we are always learning and trying to stay current in new modalities, current science, and effective practices. To that end, we host continuing education every month for massage therapists to maintain their licenses as well as in-house training for our own therapists.

Massage For Common Injuries

Learn how to work on the most
ommon injuries including:

  1. Ankle sprain

  2. Plantar fasciitis

  3. Shin splints

  4. Hamstring strain

  5. Patellar tendonitis

  6. ITB syndrome

  7. Neck pain

  8. Back pain

  9. Tennis elbow

  10. Rotator cuff

You will observe a demonstration of massage techniques designed to aid in speeding recovery from these injuries and then have an opportunity to practice the techniques with a partner.

Lomi Lomi

Learn the ancient style of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage.

  • We will explore the footwork and technique as well as how to incorporate the style into your practice.

  • The demonstration will include the continuous flow connecting strokes on the back of the body, the front of the body, as well as the wave.

  • In the afternoon, the students will have the opportunity to practice with observation and coaching by the instructor.
